Thank you to everyone who took part in, helped out or made a donation at the Steve Nicholson Memorial event in January. Including an agreed donation from the club, this year’s event raised £1000 for Asthma & Lunk UK in memory of Steve. This matched the amount raised in 2025.
The charity was extremely grateful for the donation, saying that 7.2m people in the UK are living with asthma and that £1000 could fund two days’ research. The charity continues to research new solutions to the biggest challenges faced in asthma prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
